During therapy sessions, one’s personal beliefs – often including spiritual beliefs – are discussed as these concepts set the framework for how one views themselves and their world. I assist clients to connect-the-dots often revealing different perspectives encouraging clients to consider choices previously unrecognized. Energy psychology methods such as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Tapas Acupressure Technique(TAT) can provide insight and enable healing by tapping into a strong mind-body connection . Relaxation and meditation techniques are also often used in sessions.
However, it is in the-time-between the therapy sessions that the processing and potential change truly occurs. The talking and techniques in sessions set the stage and provide tools. It is in moving through one’s life when healing and experiencing life differently occurs.
Therapy provides a means to increase self-awareness and compassion, to breathe both exhaling and inhaling, and better navigate balance.
